Take a peak at the September issue
We’ve got a ton of goodies in our September Welcome Back issue! Peter Bjorn and John and an exclusive with Royce Da 5’ 9” on his new album, working with Eminem and his show at the Blind Pig. Take a look inside the hip hop scene from Detroit to Ann Arbor and of course some must have advice for all you students coming back to class.
The iSPY team joined the rest of the community for Ypsi P.R.I.D.E. Day this past Saturday. We helped clean up Peninsular Park with a group from the Ypsi/A2 Chamber and the entire EMU Men’s Basketball team. Afterwards, we spent some time relaxing, enjoying the great day with a community picnic. It was such a great event, so glad we were able to do our part. Did you participate? If so, tell us where and upload your photo!
Wings + Beer = 20% Donation to American Cancer Society
We all know that Buffalo Wild Wings is THE place to go to for watching the game and to get some of those tasty wings. It just so happens, it’s also the place to help raise money to Knock Cancer out of the Park!
As a proud supporter of EMU Softball (and EMU Athletics as a whole), iSPY will be hosting a dine and donate event, Wednesday May 4th, all day at Buffalo Wild Wings in Ypsilanti (216 James L Hart Parkway Ypsilanti, MI 48197). All you have to do is show the server the picture of the Facebook invite (the link is below) or save and print the above picture and 20% of your bill will be donated to the American Cancer Society on behalf of the Knock Cancer Out of the Park initiative set forth by EMU Softball!
The more you spend, the more you raise! Buffalo Wild Wings has even been generous enough to raise the stakes a little and offer a 25% donation for $2,000 and 30% if we reach $3,000 in sales!
We’d also like to mention that the Tigers play the Yankees Wednesday at 7pm. See. You. There!
Well, it was another successful Renting 101! In true iSPY fashion, we gave away a ton of goodies and that FREE 1 year lease to University Green. All in all it was a great way to wind down the semester. Thanks to all the apartment communities who came out and to Eagle Nation for making this event so much fun to host every year.
